RoboCamp@RIT offers a series of week‐long day camps that let students design, build, and program robots. The camp is enriched with mini‐projects and week‐long goals that promote teamwork and creativity. Along with the mini‐projects,
instructors teach the students some of the fundamental aspects of robotics and programming.

RoboCamp@RIT is proud to provide a limited number of need‐based scholarships to enable students (grades 4 ‐10) to participate in the camp season. RoboCamp scholarships will be awarded to qualified applicants on a first come, first serve basis. The number of scholarships available will be determined by funding received from community sponsors. Scholarships will cover the full cost of one week of camp. Each applicant may only receive one scholarship (i.e. multiple weeks of camp for one student will not be funded through this program).

Scholarship Application Process:

1. Review the RoboCamp workshops and decide which one your student is interested in. Information on
   RoboCamp workshops can be found online at www.robocamp.rit.edu
2. Complete the scholarship application and submit it via email with the subject line “Robocamp Scholarship
   Application – STUDENT NAME” to ksfk12@rit.edu Submit the application as soon as possible.
3. Scholarship applications will be reviewed in the order that they are received.
4. Scholarships will be awarded as funding becomes available.

Scholarship Selection Criteria:

1. Application must be complete to be considered.
2. Applications will be reviewed for eligibility in the order in which they are received.
3. Eligible applicants will have demonstrated clear interest in RoboCamp and financial need.
4. Scholarships will be awarded as funding is received.
5. Scholarships will be awarded for participation in Robocamp workshops that have open spaces.
6. Scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first served basis as long as funding is available.

*The number of scholarships awarded will be based on available funding. There is no guaranteed number of scholarships.
